Where The Wild Things Were

I had been working on this like a maniac towards the end of last year, the day Where the Wild Things Are came out here, in Australia.
I was trying to get it done while it was still relevant.
I got this far, before I found out that it had been released in America and UK 1-2 months prior Australia.
So I stopped.

Basically, whenever there looks like there's supposed to be dialogue, it follows the simple rule of

Character one: Somethingsomethingsomething
Character two: SHUDDUP.

Because I realised that almost every scenario in that movie was someone just shutting down the other person.
That had been where I was going with it.
Hopefully some people see this, as I know I can't front-page-post...

That's from my recent 'animation', if you can call it that, titled the same.

I'm going to start on a new animation soon, as I take a quick break from my other work, just to make it. It will be rather simplistic, hopefully, so it shouldn't take too long. though, time-wise, I hope it will last for...over five minutes.
hopefully it will turn out well.

The winterscape of the long lost home,
The far away house of heartless bone,
Wails the distance of wretched land,
Lost amongst the feet of the marching band.

Snowflakes landing on lifeless leaves,
Forgotten miracles are the ones deceived.
We walk this pointless toil,
Digging our heels into the dead earth's soil.

Footstep after footstep, mountain after mountain,
We drift through, forgetting all but the pain.
None of us know where we are,
But we know that we aren't far.

The warmth that echoes enough to survive.

The drum goes on, as do we all,
Each of us playing our own carousal,
Each mute instrument that all can hear,
Though they fall on only deaf ears.

Numb all over, we drag ourselves onward,
Knowing what we're doing's only half good.
What we're leaving behind, the village of families,
We're just ourselves, but they're lost to the seas.

A marching band, walking to no beat,
Except that of our hearts, the only source of heat.
We'll march until we can't, we'll make it on our own,
To the winterscape of our long lost home.

I've been tied up in animating for an alt that the animations for this account have slowed down.
I'm wondering if that's a good thing or not yet.
but I will bring out something new soon.

I'm going to produce the flash animation of the thread that made me known.
I've been told to, by so many people, it's not funny, and I've been putting a lot of thought into it over the past few weeks.
So, soon, I'm going to make a collection of flashes for there was this girl...

I'm going to need a bit of help.
voices....etc.

Actually, making an animation crew would be the ultimate thing for me.
having a small group of people to animate with.
that'd be sick

but for now, i'm just going to go ahead and...continue planning this.
