It was when they blinked I knew this one would be legit. Admittedly, I'm not really a fan of lego animations, and found that the actual animation part of it could do with a bit more work, but I really enjoyed the way Hank spoke. The structure of his dialogue was weirdly hypnotic, and reminded me of the short stories I've been listening to in the New Yorker fiction podcast. I know it's weird to bring that up here, but I wanted to use it to highlight the actual... poetic flow and pentameter to his dialogue and the way he speaks it. The rest of the plot was... abstract in its own weird way, also reminiscent of some actual high brow short stories, making you want to dissect the character of Hank and his flippant statements. The ending left a bit to be desired.

X-Sims responds:

Thank you for your opinion, Rion. I'm glad you liked the short and how weird and hypnotic you make it out to be. That was kinda what I was going for this whole time. Glad you like Hank's character as well. Although I'm limited to how I do my traditional style of lego animations, I worry more about the stories I want to show and tell, while I worry about improving on my techniques in animating legos later on. I'm sure some of my friends that do them do better jobs than me anyway. XD

oh, so you CAN count to three.

BOoooooo

Interesting

I liked the poetry and the imagery in the words, though some of the literal translations in the images irked me a little, they were still pretty good.

I'm actually familiar with Corpus Callosum and the mental implications involved with it, and if this series goes anywhere near what its name implies, it will be very fascinating.

Virgilcomic responds:

thnx its meant more of a metaphotr

really great

I loved the background art, and the style of the characters.
and the music went really well.

I feel the need to make a joke about those eggs being Rare Candy from pokemon, and the monster leveled up and evolved :P

KartuneHustla responds:

Hahahah awesome! Never thought about it being like rare candy :). Maybe it was lingering in the back of my mind

hmmmm

Humor was....alright, could've had more
and the animation was quite average.
The voice acting was lacking a bit, as well.

Virtual-Reverb responds:

Hah, you were clearly too nice about this.

Thank you for being constructive about this submission at least :)

I have more stuff coming which wont be as nearly as horrible as this was.

Cheers!

Funny as.

But I guess you already knew that.
baby gums, ha. What will they think of next
*shakes head with a slight smile, before ruffling the hair of the nearby youngsters*
and as for (approx) two reviews below me, if your voice only works for retarded children, why do you even bother animating stuff that isn't...retarded...children?
Anywayz, you, my good sir, are pure genius.
You should probably take out your brain and frame it somewhere.
like above the fireplace.
it'll smell nice there.

Instantly not great

because of the computer voice you've used.
And...possibly the lack of work that's in this.
I'm-a sorry, but...this is...a 0/0 from me.
