I like the main beat, but the way it cuts to the melody in the middle doesn't sit well

Veeery nice. Chiptune and shoegaze in one song is a fantastic fusion I've never encountered before, and they're both some of my favourite genres.
This song is well done, though I think it could possibly be mixed a little finer. I just feel the volume levels for some of the instruments in the 2nd quater could be better balanced.
But otherwise, this song is immaculate, and I really dig it.
Keep it up.

Thanks! To be honest I started out trying to write something almost black metal-y...
I'll see what I can do about the balance and mixing, though I can only improve it to a certain degree because these are all software instruments. Thanks for the feedback!

I think it would be better without the drums, but it's interesting.

[I'm Saving Her Life]

This song is so close to being amazing. I reckon if you didn't have the drums or the glitch at the beginning, and just had a solitude trumpet synth thing for the first 30 seconds, until the other horns start to come in. Still no percussion until the big roll around the 50 second mark.
It's still the solitude trumpet, but all the other instruments that you can hear in this are slowly building in. Then 1:37 hits as the big crescendo. Delicious.
That's what I feel the problem with this song is. It's too big, all the time.
Otherwise, it's fantastic.

Get a better computer. The world requires this of you.
You need to take this already amazing song, and make it the greatest epic that will ever exist.
Also, I really liked that one animation it was in.

This is the best song ever.
I've had it for ages, and it's just brilliant.
one of the few people who've had the opportunity to appreciate it.
It's also an amazing song if you slow it down to 47% of its current speed.
